i love how Sarah j.Maas wrote the characters a her writing style are really amazing and simple . my favourite character here in that book was Dorian (the prince of Adarlan ) I’m forever Dorian team !
here it’s some of my favourite quotes in this book:
“We all bear scars,… Mine just happen to be more visible than most.”
“I like music,” she said slowly, “because when I hear it, I . . . I lose myself within myself, if that makes any sense. I become empty and full all at once, and I can feel the whole earth roiling around me. When I play. I’m not . . . for once, I’m not destroying, I’m creating.”
“A lovely girl gazing at the stars, and the stars who gazed back.”
“No one deserves to be whipped like an animal.”
“Arobynn told me that second place was just a nice title for the first loser”
“She never had many friends, and the ones she had often disappointed her. Sometimes with devastating consequences, as she’d learned that summer with the Silent Assassins of the Red Desert. After that, she’d sworn never to trust girls again, especially girls with agendas and power of their own. Girls who would do anything to get what they wanted.”
